The Avs are planning to wear it twice next season. Never been a Nordiques fan but it would be a nice blink to history.

I hate it.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

They've been in Colorado longer than they were in Quebec. It's not necessary to pay homage to Quebec.

It's only marketing. Sakic is the only remaining one who was with the franchise back in the Québec days, the organization didn't bring the retired numbers in Denver, they adopt a new logo, new moniker, new ownership, etc. The purpose of bringing back those jerseys is more merchandising sales as this jersey is a fan-favorite. But now it's already started to piss some folks here.

I assume if it's a night to honor the Quebec days, then there will only be like 4,000 fans there that night?

Did nobody learn from the Hartford Whalers jersey fiasco with the Hurricanes?

This would be like the Stars wearing the N* as the Dallas Stars. It's just dumb.

Bring back the Nordiques and let that team wear the jersey, otherwise, leave it in the past where it belongs.

I read this and immediately pictured Craig Ludwig wearing an "N-word" jersey.

If it’s this long term, why hide what it is? Could it be the heart inflammation some people get?

The Wild RR jersey was already neat, the stars on the pants is pretty, um... don't know the exact word for that.

Hurricanes trade Dzingel back to Ottawa for Galchenyuk and Paquette.

For some reason that seems ... inevitable.

Good for him. For someone who came from the ECHL, he has carved out a very respectable NHL career.

What are the chances that Tarasenko starts the season with the Blues, and any chance the team can repair its relationship with him? — Zachary S.

Tarasenko has a no-trade clause, but Armstrong is in control of the situation, and he’s going to make the deal when he wants. I still think that Tarasenko will be traded before the start of the season because it just doesn’t make a lot of sense to allow him to become a distraction. From the people I’ve spoken with, the odds are 50-50, but I believe it’s higher than that he’ll be moved.

And no, the relationship is not reparable. He will be traded. I usually don’t like guaranteeing anything, but I feel pretty comfortable guaranteeing this one.
