Re: Former Stars Thread
Classy move by Rads not to punch a guy while he’s down, but then the idiot gets up and wants more of Radulov. Radulov seems like the one Russian player I’d least want to fight.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

Gurianov is on fire with the Habs: Third goal in three games with a team that has nothing to lose.
Re: Former Stars Thread
My favorite thing about Guri is these shots where it seems like the puck is in the back of the net before it even leaves his stick. Just *fargin'* sick.

Dylan Ferguson’s first NHL start tonight for the Sens.
We traded him away to Vegas for Methot literally two days after we drafted him LOL.

Methot was supposed to Mattias Norstrom 2.0.
Winamp - it really whips the llama's ass.
Re: Former Stars Thread
And 47 saves for Ferguson who earned his first win in his first NHL start. His only NHL experience was a 9-minute outing with Vegas some years ago.
At some point he will join the Leafs.

Re: Former Stars Thread
Already did LOL.
“ The Golden Knights declined to issue a qualifying offer to Ferguson at the conclusion of his entry-level contract, making him an unrestricted free agent.[15] Ferguson then signed a professional tryout agreement (PTO) with the Toronto Maple Leafs on August 11, 2022.[16] After attending the Maple Leafs training camp and pre-season, Ferguson was re-assigned to join the Leafs' AHL affiliate, the Toronto Marlies, to begin the 2022–23 season on a PTO.[17] Ferguson made five appearances with the Marlies before he was loaned to the Wichita Thunder of the ECHL on February 23, 2023. Before making an appearance with the Thunder, Ferguson was traded by the Marlies to the Belleville Senators in exchange for future considerations on February 24.[18] He was then signed to a two-way contract for the remainder of the season with Belleville Senators' NHL affiliate, the Ottawa Senators, on March 2, 2023.[19]”

He’s going to start the rest of the season. They’ll then build a statue of Dobby after they get Bedard.

If they wanted to tank that blatantly they could’ve just gotten Kari

I remember Turco making a similar gaffe with the Blackhawks in his first game against Dallas.

Tonight, Janmark is playing on the Oilers' first line with McDavid and Kane lol. Maybe we've underestimated his fantastic offensive creativity and skills by letting him walk away.

If they were playing the Stars, it would make sense.

Ok, he might be a good fit but I still don't want to crush the party: Fans there are convinced they have signed a heavier version of Cale Makar...

Re: Former Stars Thread
Can't remember if I've posted it here, but Lundkvist has put up more points this season than Honka did over his whole NHL career.

Re: Former Stars Thread
Yeah, I've lost confidence in Nils too lately as hard as that is to say
It'll be interesting to see if he can rebound from this. I think he can. He just has to play more and it may take a rebuild for him to get more icetime...they'll likely go get other seasoned dmen to replace Suter, Hank, etc.
Miller is underrated big time. I love the way he plays. He actually plays with emotion, skates well, and has a booming shot...but we wont get that out of Miro unfortunately, it's not in his makeup.
Miller would lead the PP better than Miro. It should be experimented with. It would at least be as good...with the potential of being better than Miro.

Re: Former Stars Thread
I think NIls will actually blossom into a very, very good player in time. He just needs to play and not be taken out of the lineup when he screws up. But that's tough to do with a team that 'thinks' it's a possible Cup contending team. He actually has great leadership skills, unlike Miro, it's just going to take some time. If we had an injury or two on dmen it would open up some time for him. I'm Not wishing any injuries to anyone but that may be the only way Nils can gain the confidence of the coaches.

Re: Former Stars Thread
If Lundqvist tries really hard, maybe one day he will be as good as Honka

Re: Former Stars Thread
Well, he much bigger than Honka, so he’s got that going for him.

Re: Former Stars Thread
Lundkvist might be fine. He's still young. What sucks is he's not going to provide any help this season. It would be nice to have a #6 guy the coaching staff trusted.
