Jack Campbell has returned to earth. His agent really fucked up by not getting a contract extension done early in the season.

I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

He’ll be perfect to back up Oettinger next season.

So Nill signed like 30 goalies this past offseason and ended up with 1.5 healthy goalies.

Hey, so because Khudobin's season-ending injury occurred in the AHL, we cannot place him on LTIR, and will get no cap relief from this :|.

Can a team buyout a guy who is recovering from injury?

I don't know.

What I do know though is that we aren't anywhere close to the next buyout window.

I meant this summer because he’ll still be rehabbing his injury during the buyout window.

I don't believe anyone on LTIR can be bought out. But is he on LTIR since there is no cap relief?

https://www.silversevensens.com/2015/6/ ... sher-guide
By all reports, you cannot buy out an injured player without their permission. There is nothing explicitly about this in the buy-out rules in the CBA, but it's something that has been widely reported over the years from multiple, reputable sources, so if there's smoke there is probably fire. It is very likely linked to the waiver requirements.

He's not on LTIR right now. It looks like the Stars would have to call him up first.

Call him up to back-up Oettinger tonight, obviously don't play him, and then BOOM! put him on LTIR after riding the pine. Swish.

Nichushkin is proof that prospects can become impact players in as few as 9 years of pro experience.

Nichushkin just had a goal called off because one of his teammates was sitting on top of the Preds goalie.

It’s too bad, the Stars could have brought him back to increase the speed of the forward group
