Québec will be playing Bourque's Shawinigan in the LHJMQ semi-final. Will try to go watch that dude and all the hype around him.

He showed flashes of brilliance, but the new guys also showed flashes and then maintained those flashes over entire seasons.

Borque Borque Borque

Unfortunately, Stankhoven's (17 goals in 17 games, 31 points overall) team bowed out. He did finish with 4 (four) playoff hat tricks and is a frontrunner for WHL MVP, tho. Wyatt Johnson's (35 points in 20 playoff games) team is still alive.

The Stars have signed another youngish guy who wasn't signed by the team who drafted him. This time, it's a former Oilers 4th round pick. He got a two year ELC.

I kinda wonder if these moves signal they're going to be churning a few bodies on the AHL roster who have no real NHL future.

That's such a low-risk move though. Maybe they feel like they can develop him better? Maybe he hates the Oilers? Who knows.

Watched Bourque's Cataractes vs. Charlottetown game #3 last night. So Yeah, Bourque is clearly above, getting the tying goal before the very lol OT goal.

With a racist logo on top of that. They sould've kept the name "Dynamos": at least it had a commie flavor.

Shawinigan was rolling over Charlottetown and they thought they could easily sweep them and win the cup on home ice. But they blew it big time by losing game #4 7-0 and they had to make an avoidable 22h/1200mi bus ride (back and forth) to win it in PEI lol.

Top playoff players.

3 of the 4 are Stars prospects
Johnston’s puck skills are absurd — the OHL MVP loads pucks in his hip pocket which helps him shoot, pass or deke from the same position. This adds to his already-deceptive mindset with the puck, and his ability to absorb and manipulate opponents with ease. If there’s a roadblock to what he wants to do, he is both able to rid himself of the roadblock, or adjust on the fly to find the second-best option.

He plays with pace and finesse, and has a refined defensive game that makes him one of the best prospects in the CHL, if not the best. Expect him to continue his career in the NHL this fall.
Bourque is another player who shouldn’t take too long to find his footing in the NHL, whether next season or the one after. He’ll likely crack the Stars’ thinning lineup, unless they foolishly pack their roster with free agent signings to attempt another middling finish and short playoff run.

Why not? Sounds like a solid strategy to me and some fat rich guys.

I heard they’re actually spending money to have nine clones of Faksa created to fill out the rest of the roster
