Re: Texas Stars and Prospects Thread
I tuned in by chance for the Texas Stars-Laval game and I saw a breakaway goal by Dell'Andrea in OT. That was a weird experience.

Re: Texas Stars and Prospects Thread
Yeah, as Dellandrea is an italian name, I allow myself the unnecessary and dumb thing to write it like in italian (like the german Öttinger where oe = ö) and also because he was playing like an italian hockey player during his last stint with the big team.

Or a disease, the Stankoven-Bourque syndroma. It's pretty trendy right now.

Does your Point jersey have a captain’s C on it?
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

Re: Texas Stars and Prospects Thread
Blolz it’s actually a custom MONETTE jersey, but some older dude came up to me and was like “Excuse me, may I ask why you chose the number 32?” and I told him that it’s always been my number and that I was a 32 goalie, and he goes “Just like my son!”, so I stared at him for a moment and said “Mr. Point?” and then he lost his mind with joy. Scheel had the start tonight so he was kinda just hanging out in the hall LOL.

Re: Texas Stars and Prospects Thread
I watched the two last periods and it seems that Louis was one of the best forward of the group.
(LOL at Laval's defense when he scored all alone in the slot, and that was not a breakaway).

That's a fun but very random encounter. Does the dad live there or does he travel with the team?

Wikipedia tells me that the Point’s are from North Bay, ON. So prolly just came down for the two Stars games in Laval this week.

Safe to say Colton Point’s days as an NHL prospect are over. He’s been demoted to the ECHl again to make room for Khudobin.
