Yeah he didn’t even react to segueing getting a great chance and ringing it off the post.Archangel972 wrote: ↑Fri May 19, 2023 9:01 pm Seriously, I can't overstate how awful this PbP announcer is.

Lets' give him the lightning bolt instead. That way everyone else on the ice shrinks and he can score at will.

It's crazy that we still haven't been on PK. When a team dominates so much, you are forced to take penalties.

Seguin missed the net.

Suter is such a give up on offense, even when given a great chance.
Re: WCF GM1 @ Vegas (7:30PM CT) - Trying not to repeat history
The last time Suter was alone in the crease was in 2007.

It's not about screaming, it's about sounding engaged and interested in what is happening on the ice.5minmajor wrote: ↑Fri May 19, 2023 9:04 pmScreaming announcers add nothing. The Frugal Gourmet wrote: ↑Fri May 19, 2023 9:01 pmYeah he didn’t even react to segueing getting a great chance and ringing it off the post.Archangel972 wrote: ↑Fri May 19, 2023 9:01 pm Seriously, I can't overstate how awful this PbP announcer is.

Seguin out there in his place on the 4 th line. Wonder if DeBoer noticed the other two doing so good at feeding chances to Glendening that he decided to put someone in his sport more like to score.

Our fourth line is the only one able to forecheck so far so worth a shot.Troy McClure wrote: ↑Fri May 19, 2023 9:10 pmSeguin out there in his place on the 4 th line. He also failed to note at all that Seguin hit the post, and noticing things that are happening is his only job. The color commentator had to chirp up.Archangel972 wrote: ↑Fri May 19, 2023 9:08 pmIt's not about screaming, it's about sounding engaged and interested in what is happening on the ice.5minmajor wrote: ↑Fri May 19, 2023 9:04 pmScreaming announcers add nothing.

The Stars just need to survive that, get it to a shootout and they'll be fine.
Re: WCF GM1 @ Vegas (7:30PM CT) - Trying not to repeat history
So far everything in this game, from both teams to the announcers to the fans, is slogging through the mud. It's like watching 40 people suffer through hangovers.

It almost feels like a preseason game or something.

It’s funny how William Karlsson speaks English with almost no accent yet doesn’t know what “nuances” means.

I like PK Subban's jacket but if I wore it I would look like the most cringe douchebag on the planet.

She fumbled the pronunciation pretty hard.

Not knowing what nuances was seems to have motivated Karlsson LOL.
