Why the hell didn't he go with a direct shot instead of trying to control the puck?

To me it depends. We cannot defend them, but I don’t think they’re all that great if we decide to start skating today.

He used to be decent but what sucks the most is his $5.8M AAV.

I hope the Stars retain the lesson this time and don't let the Kraken roll over them in the first period next Monday.

Hard to blame holding the stick though. It really works sometimes if the ref doesn’t see it and we need some breaks.

He’s not a very smart player. Donato saw the lean coming and pulled the chair out from under Marchment.

Yes. Possibly because he literally did the same move 5 seconds before.

He also would’ve kept the puck pretty easily without it there.

A few seconds left, Lindell has the puck, doesn't bother to skate past the red line, dumps it in the Kraken zone which results in an icing and a defensive face-off with 8 secs. remaining

Also nobody was pressuring him.

Not a great game.

Nevertheless, spend 30 minutes in your own zone and losing neutral zone coverage and the other team is going to score. It's too good a league right now.
