Going to finish the final five minutes without a shot on goal.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.
Re: RD2 GM6 @ Seattle (6PM CT) - RELEASE THE FATSO
lol I mean DeBoer would eventually considering it, but not making it.
(but frankly, Miller for Häkänpää anytime)

Heiskanen hasn’t show much heart tonight, better scratch him and put Lundqvist in for game 7

Not looking forward to game seven.
Oettinger has been bad most of this series.
Lindell-Hankanpas was a complete disaster.
Robertson had a very very bad game.
Oh, hey…. Here come the stupid late game misconducts.

Lindell finally NOT on the ice for a goal against.
Re: RD2 GM6 @ Seattle (6PM CT) - RELEASE THE FATSO
All the vets except Pavelski have been horseshit tonight and not prepared at all. But I'm seeing the glass half full:Troy McClure wrote: ↑Sat May 13, 2023 8:49 pm Not looking forward to game seven.

Öttinger almost never drops two in a row
Lïndëll/Häkänpää can't really be worse than tonight
The Stars still have opportunities but the Kraken scored in key moments
But they'd better come out *fargin'* strong on monday.

I think the Stars have a reasonable chance in game 7. Especially given Oettinger's record after losses.

Just listened at the postgame analysis on TVAS, and holy cow they were trash towards the -7 defensive pair and the overall defensive depth. You can't play Heiskanen 45 minutes per game and Hanley 20 minutes while trying to live with Harley's rookie mistakes. So I guess a win has to go through these two pylons getting their *poo poo* together.

Are we eve sure Oettinger is the starter for game 7? Math said Deboer is not afraid to bench starters

I'd definitely rest him for game #7 so that he's 100% fit and ready for game #8.ScubaSteve wrote: ↑Sat May 13, 2023 9:19 pm Are we eve sure Oettinger is the starter for game 7? Math said Deboer is not afraid to bench starters

Re: RD2 GM6 @ Seattle (6PM CT) - RELEASE THE FATSO
Is it possible to build a brick wall in front of the net and then move it to the other end during the intermission? I feel like this might increase our odds of winning a bit.

He was good at defending that's about it, lacks puck skills like Hakanpaa, so it's easy to take advantage of them. The team's defense is atrocious so often since 2023 started. They can hide the player's issues better when an opponent has less speed and depth, but the lack of puck skills will always be an issue. Best solution is to put Harley with Hakanpaa or Lindell, and Hanley with the other. If Hakanpaa's injury is a leg injury then he's better off not playing. Colin Miller is worse than Hakanpaa.
With the limited cap space and not really anyone that good available in the off-season they need to hope Lundqvist takes a large step forward next season.

It's also a challenge going into game seven of round two trying out new d pairs when you don't have much confidence in anyone currently being scratched. If Hakanpaa is scratched for Miller, that probably will confirm whether they view Hakanpaa's inhibited mobility as a factor in his poor performance.Jason wrote: ↑Sat May 13, 2023 9:51 pmHe was good at defending that's about it, lacks puck skills like Hakanpaa, so it's easy to take advantage of them. At least Lindell was as aware as we were. Maybe he will have a bounce back game in 7.

Well thanks for the thoughts and cellular prayers. My connection was excellent. Unfortunately I got to see the whole game mess.
