I wonder if that Eberle goal made Enron man look up from his book.

You know, Miro really is quite average when he doesn't have a stick in his hand.

Up to that point, his stick per 60 had been 100%.

I want the Stars to score exactly four in each game.

It's *fargin'* embarrassing that they didn't score at least one empty netter during that stretch.

Kraken in 5.

In retrospect that first period where Dallas didn’t generate much but Seattle generated even less may have been a deliberate tone setter by Dallas.

Up until that point, I wasn’t sure we could slow down seattle’s quality looks.

Seattle still generated some great chances, but it wasn’t a full on *poo poo* show. They’re too good to completely smother. This was a great overall effort.

They did but honestly it wasn’t a game winning number of chances imo. In fact I thought their finishing was maybe above average.

The Stars were better in every aspect. Better execution, less battles lost, higher FO efficiency, a bit more physical too. The Kraken seemed gassed from the second half of the game.

About 75% of the game was Men vs Boys. I'm probably wrong, but Seattle's first goal (a perfect shot) was their second shot by a forward. Dallas had zero problems skating unimpeded right up to Grubauer for the majority of the game, as basically every Seattle defender rolled out the red carpet for Dallas forwards to cruise straight up the middle.

Robo clearly has some sort of arm or shoulder injury. He looks like he can barely hold his stick. I think we all agree that the blame rests solely on the Fat Robo Avatar.

Harley continues to impress. His stretch passes are elite!

I'm still not sold on Miller, tho having his boom-shot on the second powerplay is cool. He makes really, really dumb decisions all the time, however.

Oettinger had the yips and was fighting the puck for about 15 minutes in the first period of Game 1, and now looks like his normal self. Not yet in his Games 5-7 form, however, but he'll get there. Both Seattle goals were just lights-out perfect roofing shots in the top corner blocker side. No goalie is going to stop those unless he's cheating the hell out of every other possible shot.

Well I was thinking any strategy for beating them starts with shutting down the Kraken first period. That is their statistically best period by far.

I hate that we are having to worry about shutting *them * down, but ah well.

That actually worried me a bit because that game did not seem like a two goal game for Seattle in terms of chances.

In a way I’m glad though because it gave Pavelski the game winning goal. He deserved it after what we did with his effort last game.

I've decided my comp for who Wyatt Johnston is showing signs of turning into is Brayden Point.

It's true they sure did point out how good dallas was at faceoffs a lot.

There is such a gap in this series i find myself cool
with just totally icing the puck whenever

I like it I guess but I feel like most team names have something to do with the area and that one is just random af.

But Minnesota wild is the worst name in the history of sports.
Ha. Was talking about the Kraken's name with my son last night. He loves it. I said it might be trying a little hard, but it's still kinda cool and I like the general look of the kit. Then he asked what's the worst name. I said "The Wild" without hesitation.

I can’t believe we’re on year *fargin'* two of getting the same five sing-a-long songs every *fargin'* game.
The last few times I've been at the game I've taken to singing the songs at random times. It helps the pain. Someone needs to make a shirt with all of those song names crossed out, or something.
