I'm a little leery of this. Dadonov certainly seems to have earned a new contract but he is also 34 if I'm not mistaken. Maybe Nill gives him a decent 2 year contract but nothing more. Besides, that Logan Stinky-oven guy will be coming in next year, maybe even Bourque.

I think he played correctly. He made sure to dismiss the pass option on the 2-on-1 while allowing Öttinger to face the shot because he's trusted. Unfortunately, the shot was perfect and Öttinger seemed to be slightly off position too.

That's right. As a kid, the number of times my coach told me to never ever ever change when the other team is attacking, it's a grade A mistake at that level.
