On the other hand, Pavelski scored 4 goals on another line.
Robertson is quietly having a really bad playoff run at even strength. Dude is struggling to even get a shot on goal.

I guess I can see keeping Pavelski with the second line because it is pretty bad without him. But if they do, they need to put Dadonov or Dellandrea or Kiviranta on the top line in Seguin’s spot.

Also, the replays didn't show it but I'm 98% sure Benn was offside on that third goal.

No shifts for Glendening in OT. No idea if he was hurt or benched. He’s a prime candidate to come out for Kiviranta to get a bit more speed.

Impossible. Benn has never been offside.

I list this one in the category of "encouraging win". It took quite some time for the Stars to find a response but they played a very good third period and OT. In that sense, the scenario was quite comparable with the game #1 vs. Minnesota. Maybe they unconsciously thought it will be okay after the Paveski two quick goals because they really let the Kraken get the edge from that moment. TVA Sports had a good analysis on Seattle strategy where they mostly tried to use a vertical game made of one or two quick and long passes from their zone to the opposite blue line. The Stars were often disturbed by this because they haven't had time to backcheck and organize themsleves because of the Kraken overall speed. And what did the Stars do to counter that? Exactly the same thing and it worked. Also, the Stars lost an insane amount of battles, especially in their own zone and along the boards. Seattle constantly get the puck back to put pressure.

However, there's still concerns on Robertson's tenure and production, he seems like the 2020 rookie. The defense is also questionable. Besides Heiskanen and Harley, the D is not mobile and damn slow to react. It was ok against a Wild team that generally sucked in generating offense but against a fast team like the Kraken, it was very tough. The Lindell/Hakanpää pair was putrid, rough game also of Miller even if he got better at the end. I'm expecting Hanley to take his place. Also, I agree with Troy: put JFK in place of Glendening who is completely useless. In fact, the whole fourth line was invisible.

Too bad to lose such a great Pavelski game. I’d keep him with Domi and Marsh. Best those two have looked. Do agree, Stars got better as the game went along. Definitely take Miller out, and Glendenning, even with his FO prowess. His usual good defense was MIA. Maybe he’s banged up, but I think he just got benched. All 3 D pairs were victimized by the Krak early tho.

I think the Stars needed a wakeup call. Minnesota was a good defensive team and very physical, but the Kraken are going to speedbag the Stars if they don't pick up the pace.

I mean, for the first 7 tears of Oleksiak’s career, he could easily be shouldered out of the way by guys half his size. It was weird watching him actually be physical.

I agree. For now keep Pavelski with Domi and Marchment, Domi seems to be slighting getting his pace. It's not a problem to scratch Glendening as all we can take from Faksa is his FO efficiency. The fourth line was logically glued on the bench for the OT because OT wanted to keep up the rhythm and the high tempo. In a nutshell, just discard the dead wood against that fast and tricky Kraken team.

I'm also pleasantly surprised by Harley. I think we can keep the first-round official bust tag in the drawer for a while.

Do we think Robertson’s disappearance is connected to Val’s disappearance?

He's too fat to be Nichushkin's type.
