It took a few games for the Stars to realize they should ignore the Wild‘s physical game, but once they did, it was game over.

After that performance why are the fans cheering the Wild at the end there? They should boo them!

It’s weird to see the Stars close out a series and feel like they were clearly the better team almost every step of the way.

Only if he makes a formal apology for what he did to Pavelski.

They were, especially that third period when the Wild really pushed, the Stars held. Even after the Wild scored, they stayed calm and kept playing.

Also works out well to give Pavelski a few more days to recover.

Honestly, It was the game where I was the least nervous. I thought we would be desperately napalmed and blasted, it was barely a light drizzle. And then the Stars took control of the game as usual.

I almost don't think it matters. Their dead cap money goes up $2 million next season because of the funky buyout math. They'll lose Dumba (who is ok but not great) and will have $14 million in dead cap money.

A better coach will help, but their roster will be worse.

No, they need to improve the defense but he's not the answer. The cost and years isn't worth it.

Evason is completely clueless, they'd have more success with someone who makes adjustments and works on the team's weaknesses. Evason has never won a playoff series in the AHL or NHL, last year's playoffs was the same for the Wild awful penalty kill. It's not hard for them to have more success with a different coach winning one playoff series.

When does Johansson become available? Guy was an absolute badass and scariest Wild skater.

That's who I want.

I mean it's not like they were favorites in the series and just collapsed or something.

Big *fargin'* deal.

I am Texas Rangers fan (no need to elaborate) and a Cowboys fan (same in that time frame)

and the Dallas Stars have been worse overall than the Wild
in that time frame.

just absolute Whiners up in Minnesota.

I also enjoyed how Kiviranta outscored Kaprizov over six games.
