This was shockingly well-done:
I would love to see a lot more stuff like this.

The in-game bit on the video board was pretty good. It was the "NSA Cam" which put up pictures of Minnesota fans on their phones and put up what they were texting. Funny bit.

I watched this, and part of the defense of the hit was that Faska moved and thus made himself more vulnerable because he had to catch and drop the puck. Of course, this wrongly assumes that:
1. Faska dropped the puck knowing that he would get clocked and should have prepared to avoid it.
2. Faska could've moved in a way to avoid the oncoming hit, and it's his responsibility to do so.
3. The void created by Faska's movement is his fault and he is responsible for it.
All of these are obviously hilarious and false.

I don't think we watched the same video. They did say that Faksa moved and therefore made himself more vulnerable, but that Foligno is responsible for the hit he's trying to place and it's on him to recognize that Faksa made himself more vulnerable. They said that it was malicious because of Faksa's movement, but that it was Foligno's fault.

Paul B was basically victim blaming, while that awkward looking dude pretty forcefully shot his stupid theory down.

I mean, when Foligno decided to skate in for the hit, Faksa was stretched out and vulnerable. Folingo knew what he was doing three strides before contact.

That's what I saw. Young buck wanted to mutate physics to blame Faska.

Purple suit was 100% saying he barely saw this as a penalty in the beginning, laying out the case about the catching of the puck, the motion move to the backhand, etc.slaps wrote: ↑Wed Apr 26, 2023 3:10 pm I don't think we watched the same video. I think some Canadian fans can check my work, but I'm pretty sure Bissonette means "female buffalo".
Re: RD1 GM5 04/25 vs Mild (7PM CT) - Best of Three
Bissonnette basically is there to defend every single cheap shot so far this playoffs (his take on Makar's hit was... exquisite). In that regard, he's a good person to have in the studio, because at least he's not boring AF.

Also he played the game as a goon, so makes sense for him to give his opinions from that standpoint.

If Foligno goes in with his legs under him and not out, it is a hit with no penalty.
I hate when these dipshits defend the dirty stuff they know can wreck heads and knees.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

Yep. His leg is clearly sticking far out in the still shot. 100% dirty. Suspendable even.Troy McClure wrote: ↑Wed Apr 26, 2023 6:00 pmIf Foligno goes in with his legs under him and not out, it is a hit with no penalty.
