The in-game bit on the video board was pretty good. It was the "NSA Cam" which put up pictures of Minnesota fans on their phones and put up what they were texting. Funny bit.

I watched this, and part of the defense of the hit was that Faska moved and thus made himself more vulnerable because he had to catch and drop the puck. Of course, this wrongly assumes that:

1. Faska dropped the puck knowing that he would get clocked and should have prepared to avoid it.
2. Faska could've moved in a way to avoid the oncoming hit, and it's his responsibility to do so.
3. The void created by Faska's movement is his fault and he is responsible for it.

All of these are obviously hilarious and false.

They did say that Faksa moved and therefore made himself more vulnerable, but that Foligno is responsible for the hit he's trying to place and it's on him to recognize that Faksa made himself more vulnerable. They said that it was malicious because of Faksa's movement, but that it was Foligno's fault.
