It was extremely satisfying to silence their whiny asses. Even Foligno's look of indignance when he was sent to the box made me want to go down there myself and dump him over the boards.

Sports reporters ask the dumbest questions.

I'm still waiting for the day that one of them asks the coach a stupid question on the bench and the coach lights them up for it. I was thinking Tortorella would do it but I haven't seen it yet.

To be faiiirrr! Their audience likely isn't looking for deep existential discussions. I'd prefer it if everyone gave more direct answers, though. I like Foligno's commentary.

I love Tortorella's interviews, even back at the time when he was that close to fight woth Brooksie when he was on the Rangers' bench. For example when the took over the coaching duties in Philly:SaintAngerBH wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 12:12 pmI'm still waiting for the day that one of them asks the coach a stupid question on the bench and the coach lights them up for it. I actually find the coach interviews during the game painful to watch. Every fiber of my being is shouting "leave him alone!"

Do people actually watch coach interviews? Seems like something that only exists so the media ecosystem can justify its own existence. We could easily outsource both the entire media and coaches comments to chatGPT.

I think chatGPT isn't even required. You just need like 20 custom questions/responses that you can plug in as a function of the current situation. The only technical challenge is to replace the interviewer and the coach by an hologram build from AI. They are already using this kind of process for the board ads so it should be easily replicable.

It's so funny when they switch away from the main broadcast camera. You can see the real board ads.Math wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 1:24 pm I think chatGPT isn't even required. I'm confused. Is this a Dallas Stars-centric podcast? How do they know the comments were left by Wild fans?

I'm guessing due to the hundreds of comments left on similar articles by Stars-centered writers on places like The Athletic by Wild fans. I saw quite a few that questioned Saad's article on the Dumba hit based solely on Saad's name, which is pretty shitty.
