Evason signaled to the goalie on the bench I think but probably for next period.

I honestly couldn’t believe he wasn’t pulled earlier given what the other guy did. And they were close for a bit. I figured shorter leash.SaintAngerBH wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2023 10:23 pmEvason signaled to the goalie on the bench I think but probably for next period.

If Häkänpää doesn't take another stupid penalty, we're gonna be fine.

I'd have pulled him at 4. Maybe even 3. Strange move by Evason. Guarantee we won't see him again in this series. The Frugal Gourmet wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2023 10:24 pmI honestly couldn’t believe he wasn’t pulled earlier given what the other guy did. Robertson with a couple of flubs on this PP.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

Marchment really is just comedy relief at this point.

Marchment playing bowling with himself as both the ball and the bowling.

So the first period no longer the best period for the stars this playoffs.

If true, getting at least one past Gus in the third will be very important heading back to Minnesota.SaintAngerBH wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2023 10:25 pmI'd have pulled him at 4. Maybe even 3. Different caliber of chances though to be fair. Scored on multiple breakaways, odd man rushes, and wide open shots.Knives Out wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2023 10:29 pmIf true, getting at least one past Gus in the third will be very important heading back to Minnesota.SaintAngerBH wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2023 10:25 pmI'd have pulled him at 4. I felt like last game Minnesota was so tight and high energy no one had space or time.
Minnesota has not been even close to that in front this time .

He's a terrible skater. I think his skating problems are his limiting factor.Alyosha0999 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2023 10:30 pm I agree about Marchment, wow does he do anything to help?

These last two 2nd periods have been so wild (no pun)
Re: RD1 GM2 04/19 vs Wild (8:30PM-ish CT) - THE TORTOISE AND THE HARE
I remember Robertson of having also a klunky-clumsy style of skating when he played his first games with the Stars, but we won't ask Marchment to become the new Robertson I guess...

lol
Hintz: "Yeah we let them come back and then we came back and we just have to not let them come back again."
Brilliant discourse, sir.
