Re: 2023 Dallas Stars Playoff Thread
Remember the Vegas series. If you ignore Reaves, he's going to hurt his team.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

Re: 2023 Stars Playoffs (Thread)
Currently ranked 9th to win the Cup according to Vegas odds.
A little bummed to see that despite our fun season we are still considered a middling playoff team.
But when I look at the list above us, I mostly agree.

Can each team wear their reverse retros the whole series? That would be great thanks.

Reaves has a problem controlling his emotions. A big problem with it.Troy McClure wrote: ↑Fri Apr 14, 2023 10:36 pm Remember the Vegas series. If you ignore Reaves, he's going to hurt his team.

Seeing this series will be like watching my wife and my mistress fighting topless in the mud.

For a long breakdown of the Stars-Wild series by national writers, this is a good start.

Re: 2023 Stars Playoffs (Thread)
lol Ryan Reaves is by far their worst player.

Re: 2023 Stars Playoffs (Thread)
Yeah, even though Reaves saw his offense contribution increase by +9000% while most the Wild players were either injured or rested, he will/should be a non-factor there. I'm more concerned about guys like Hartman or Foligno who are tough guys that can fight and score.

I think it'll be Dallas in 6. Maybe 5. Probably 6.

Re: 2023 Stars Playoffs (Thread)
Goligoski is still in the league? I’m changing my prediction.
Wild in 4 still, but three games will be Klingberg OT winners and Game 4 will be a Goligoski hat trick to complete the sweep.

He's not dead, so he's ok. Gotcha.
This is not 1994 anymore. Hope I'm wrong, but I guess Pavelski is done for the season.

They're obviously not going to be honest about his true condition in the playoffs. He could be a vegetable right now and we wouldn't know.

Except they're not saying he's playing. I tend to believe they're being genuine about that.

Re: 2023 Stars Playoffs (Thread)
He'll be back before the end of the series.
This is realistically his last shot at a Cup.
We're gonna Tua him.
I know that game LOL.

Re: 2023 Stars Playoffs (Thread)
He shouldn't. Stars have very very low odds to even compete for the cup and he has a family.

You need to pay the ultimate price in the playoffs. Maybe his fat son's tears are the exact sacrifice that the Stars need ...

To be fair, Pavelski's kid is kind of obnoxious.
