Literally?

What about Ted Nugent-Hopkins?
He was always a ghost until this (regular) season, and then scored ONE goal these playoffs ...

I had to laugh watching that series and remembering that Nurse is getting Heiskanen money.

The Nurse contract is a nightmare. Sure, they have something like $2.25 million in dead money coming off the books, but they don't have any actual big dollar UFAs they can let walk to create space. All of their UFAs are guys making $1.25 million or less. So they're going to fill those roster holes paying young guys or journeymen the same money. They've already traded away three of their next four first rounders, so they're low on ammo to use to get someone to take away a bad contract.

They also have to give Bouchard a new contract this summer. He went nuts in the playoffs and is going to want a nice deal.

Then in goal they're giving a decent raise to Skinner next year, meaning they're going to be paying $7.6 million for one goalie who is a mental wreck they can't trust at all and for a younger guy who might top out as a nice average goalie at best with some experience.

Final four teams are all technically from 'the south'.

Dallas is the team with the highest regular season scorer left in the playoffs.

Unfortunately that guy is Jason Robertson.

Unless you know what "The South" actually is and that Carolina is really the only Southern team.

And before 1993 there were no teams in Carolina, Dallas, Sunrise/Miami and Vegas.

Three of these states left the union and fought to protect slavery, and one was a territory designated to be a home for future slavery. In that sense, he's right.

The South regional designation almost never includes South Florida , Texas or Nevada but I know what he meant and was just teasing.

Stars-Kraken game 7 on ESPN peaked at nearly 4 million viewers and was the third rated second round nhl game of all time on cable.

For those theorizing that non-traditional markets would kill viewership.

Wow. That's impressive. And I love that it pisses off all the crusty traditional market people.

I really enjoy the other conference final games when we are in the conference finals. It's like I can watch and enjoy the hockey without being anxious the whole time. Low stress.
