The Lundkvist trade pretty much eliminated that option.slaps wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 11:20 pmWould have been nice if a young top-pair defenseman on a very team-friendly contract had been available. The Frugal Gourmet wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 11:09 pm Maybe Dallas should’ve traded for some defense at the deadline.

What is the *fargin'* deal with our first line only ever having a good shift after giving up a lead?

A problem with Seguin and Marchment being hurt is the Stars don’t really have the cap space to call up Harley to see what he has. If DeBoer is done with Lundkvist, you’d like to see Harley get a look before they run out of regular season.

Dallas seriously does look like they have no energy except when they are trailing.

With Hakanpää on the scoresheet, we can definitely not lose this one.

Let’s get an undeserved point. I honestly think that Calgary has again been the better team, but it would be nice.

Quick recall for Stars players: we are NOT trailing. I repeat, we are NOT trailing.

Not sure what’s going on recently, but it feels like just about any team can hold the puck in our zone for hugely long periods of time. And often it leads to goals.
Our transition used to be so crisp, but it feels sluggish recently.

Re: 03/18 @ Calgary (9PM CT) - last stop
They looked good in the first period, but the energy certainly waned as the game went along. I know it’s been a long road trip, but it sure is rough pointing to fatigue three games in a row.The Frugal Gourmet wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 11:27 pm Dallas seriously does look like they have no energy except when they are trailing.

Oh well ok, let's go to that stupid 3-on-3 and hope to reach the shoot-out.

I have to be careful in this thread because Knives is so far ahead of the Bally broadcast.

Gotta be some other element to it as well. When they gave up the lead, all of a sudden they finally had some good shifts again.Troy McClure wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 11:38 pmThey looked good in the first period, but the energy certainly waned as the game went along. The Stars are atrocious at maintaining possession in OT.

I am watching on Ballys (cable) and about the same speed as Knives. I’ve noticed this every game though that others are behind me. Might be other factors.

Markstrom really wanted the weakest goalie interference call of all time? Okay then LOL.

Markström asking for goalie interference? This is not soccer...
