Domi is the best player the Stars have added at the deadline in 20 years.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

And I hope the Stars make it past the first round or they will just learn the lesson never to do that again.

Domi rocks. He’s so much fun to watch. I very much hope they find a way to keep him. He’s a great middle six playmaker which the Stars desperately need.

Wish they could move Seguin to make it happen. Ah well.

A second rounder is only nothing if they make it past the first round.

It’s a 2025 2nd rounder. We’ll all be crushed by an asteroid before that pick means anything.

haha.

I didn't remember it was Dadonov who kept the puck in there too.

Changed our OT mojo?

Trades won.

This kind of pass and shot makes the puck trail work really well.

6 points in 7 games for Dadonov
3 points in 4 games for Domi

The Stars have focused on grinders and acquiring depth spares for so long. They can’t have every guy ignore defense but it’s nice to see them pick up a couple of guys whose strength is creativity.

It also seems like Dadonov was just on terrible team and performed accordingly. He’s back to his former self.

I wouldn't want to give Dadanov an extension because he seems streaky to the point of being traded for a reason. If he's not happy, he's not only failing to score but is also actively bad.

Last season, Vegas tried to trade him but had the trade voided because they forgot about his no trade clause. In the 16 games after the botched trade, he put up 16 points in 16 games. He went from a 0.44 pts/game rate for most of the season to a 1.00 rate all because the trade thing pissed him off.

Then he got sent to Montreal where he didn't want to be, and he was terrible. So bad the Stars got him for free.

But I hope this run continues through the playoffs of him playing motivated hockey to prove people wrong.

I think Dadonov was a good pickup but I wouldn’t want to give him an extension. He’s on the older side and will want money and term. It’s early on Domi but I just really enjoy watching him play.

Yeah, we needed the full two points. Whew. Fun game, though.

The puck line is AWFUL. Add in the player labels and the screen is full of *poo poo*. I can mute the broadcast but am stuck with that chaos. No thank you.

Also, think I saw the TSF visitors.

I’d take both because I think keeping guys might be slightly easier than acquring new versions . Then throw the Stankoven out there.
