If Benn hadn't deflected the shot, the goal would have been given to Lindell and the Stars would have won in regulation, following the Lindell-Faksa theorem.

Let’s just go ahead and end this one in regulation with another Robo goal.

Hakanpaa and Lindell both reacted way too slow. Lindell shouldn’t have been so damn wide as the weak side guy.

Dellandrea should get scratched, though. He threw the game away by passing it to the middle right to the Flames.

We've lost like that several times over the past few months. This team has still got some issues.
Although the bigger issue might just be playing 15 minutes of a good game overall.

We definitely need a better and more reliable back-up so that we can start resting Oettinger more.
In addition to usually letting in 4 to 5 goals a game, this is like the third time this season that Wedgewood has been out.
It should be Evil Matt Murray time ...
I miss Holtby.

Re: 03/06 vs Flames (7:30PM CT) - GRINDING POINTS
As they head off on a six game road trip, we'll get a good idea about backup goalie when we find out if Wedgewood even goes on the trip.
This long trip also means there's no chance of seeing Harley called up to see if the people pumping his tires about him learning how to play D this season are correct.

Re: 03/06 vs Flames (7:30PM CT) - GRINDING POINTS
Were they aware that the game was tied 4-4 and we were in a perfect position to grab that so much needed OTL? From the suicidal pass to the defense coverage, it was a professional pee-wee fault. After his great game against Colorado, Hakanpää was brutal and this is the illustration of the Stars struggles this season: consistency and putting the same regular effort game after game.
Re: 03/06 vs Flames (7:30PM CT) - GRINDING POINTS
This is a dark blemish on the Stars' otherwise perfect Poncho Era.
