I don't think Patrick Kane will be able to single-handedly beat us this time.

Tonight would be a good game to scratch Pavelski to start building in some rest for him. See if they can help him get his legs back.

Reducing Benn's minutes worked wonders.

Ideally he gets traded midway through the game and gets to switch jerseys.

They've already overplayed Oettinger. Need to not play him in back to backs.

I mean, they're only the Blackhawks. It's not possible to lose this one.

But he isn't playing for the Stars. This won't be official until the morning when the NHL turns their fax machines on.

Relatively shrewd though keeping his 2 goals and 1 assist off the scoresheet tonight.

Miller is getting healthy scratched for Hanley.

I haven’t had much of a problem with Miller’s game, but maybe I’m not following closely enough.

Last night he had a terrible pass attempt up the middle. I thought it might have been Lindqvist and he'd then be benched, but it was Miller who was then right back out there. Can't bench a vet for a mistake

Occasionally offensive geniuses like Miller will have one of those but the upside makes it all worth it.

I do not understand the benching of young players for mistakes. It only ever seems to cause setbacks.

It must be nice to ease into the NHL by playing an AHL team.

Exactly right! Then they get super conservative and afraid to try anything and lose themselves

Nice of the Stars to give our new goalie some high caliber early saves to build his confidence.

Smart of Pavelski to hand it off to someone who can score.

I mean he was in about the best spot in the ice there. He's gonna need a lucky bounce at this point.

Felt like he hesitated a second before taking his shot that created the rebound. He was in a great spot, but he didn’t get it away quite as fast as we’ve seen.
