Nice to see the league’s worst teams continuing their dominance against the Stars.
Winamp - it really whips the llama's ass.

This team has given up. Nill needs (no-has to) make a big move before tomorrow’s game

Correct. Sell as many players for draft picks as possible.

Agreed, this team is a disaster as it is now....the problem is that can eeek out enough games down the stretch here, make the playoffs and that's probably all they really expected from this group to begin with.

I'm fully on board with a change for the sake of change trade to shake these guys up, but check this out:

Benn
Seguin
Marchment
Pavelski
Lindell
Suter

Those dudes all have full no move protections. And Faksa even has some small trade protection. Even if Nill wants to trade a guy who plays a lot, he has few options.

Looks like Lundkvist and Marchment got benched.

They did stupid things.

To me, though, the main problem is the whole team being outhustled again. It helps create this environment.

The Stars are probably the oldest team in the league, or close to it. Maybe that accounts for the tiredness they seem to have mentally and physically at the moment. It's a dead looking team. Nill needs to bring someone in if possible. But the problem is that the Stars mgmt knows that this is NOT a cup contending team.

Who can explain why the first line is mostly getting matched by every team they play now? Is the old and tired Pavelski? Time to try someone else?

Definitely need to switch up the lines and see if it ignites things....draw the damn names out of a helmet at this point.

Try something else? DeBoer?

But yes, Pavelski looks like he went from an ageless wonder to old and broken down over the Christmas break.

My favourite part about our goals tonight is that we then get to see all of the ponchos in the crowd.

But don’t dare suggest changing it up.

It’s getting to the point where I’m excited for the last 40 seconds of the pp because they look so much less predictable.

I never understand why NHL players remove the ear covers from their helmets.

The Stars have this really weird and frustrating habit lately of not being able to put home amazing chances when the game is tied.

Of course, all these wasted opportunities won't bite us at all later on.
