03/01 vs Coyotes (7:30PM CT) - V2 BUST

Post by Knives Out »

This has all the makings of a season deflating game ...

Nill will like where this team is at regardless.

I'm sensing something other than an OTL here. Maybe a regulation loss.

Arizona hasn't been winning a lot, but they are scoring a surprising amount for a team built to lose. 3.4 goals per game their last ten games. The Stars are at 2.2 over their last ten. Arizona also had wins last month over the Wild and Lightning.

They're terrible, but they aren't going to roll over.

It's time for the Stars to poncho down.

It doesn’t get more ignominious than losing on poncho night. This one’s big, boys.

No one comes into our house (while we are wearing ponchos) and pushes us around.

A far cry from this awesomeness from one of the old Mexican World Cup jerseys, but still a step in the right direction:

Lindell is going to get credited with a shot block even though it lead to the goal.

Two Coyotes screening Öttinger on Keller's shot. Two. And neither Lïndëll nor Häkänpää to clear the crease.

Yeah, let's talk about mexican soccer jerseys instead. Jorge Campos ones during the USA World Cup 94 were pretty original.

He is top ten in the league for penalty minutes, and without the benefit of fighting majors ...
