Heard some quotes from DeBoer and a couple of players. They all recognize they’re in a slump. I wonder how much longer DeBoer keeps everything the same.

Seguin-Marchment is a bad duo. We're approaching three months of them doing nothing. The PP units haven't been touched all season, yet the PP has been awful all of 2023. Even the top line isn't generating what it was.

I know fans hate it when coaches shuffle lines a lot, but maybe we’re reaching the other extreme where it’s time to start wondering why DeBoer won’t make any changes at all.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

Oh, and the Jackets are without Gaudreau, so this is a guaranteed easy win.

Marchment is a needle in the foot of every line he's playing with. We still haven't tried him with Glendening and Gurianov so at that point, why not ;-/

And the second PP unit remains a constant pain in the ass. The problem is if you shuffle this unit as well, you end up putting Faksa, Lindell or [insert freshly recalled AHLer here].

Glendening is out. They're calling Olofsson up.

They're wearing these for black history month in warmup. Pretty cool design. Better than most of these warmups auctioned off where it's the usual jersey with some color changes.

Shame these shirts aren't being sold online. I'd buy one.

Of course.

With all five Stars players on the right side and Lindell chasing flies in front of Wedgie.

Still don't know how Miro didn't score on the easy dunk.

Meh, Korpisalo's softie is cancelled with the great Jackets line change and the nice Lindkvist pass. #5 will have to wait a bit more before being scratched again.

Yeah, he made a two line pass. Can't have that.

And the hilarious turnover giving Dellandrea a gift goal is why they're in last place.

The Gurianov curse continues. What a great and useless play on the takeaway leading to the Johnston disallowed goal.

The goalie interference call was right, but everything leading up to it is why the Jackets are so bad. Super soft handling of a dump in. Complete chaos in front of the net with not one Jacket tying up a stick or getting the puck.

Marchment finally scored a goal!

Columbus goes up 2-1.

So that was Foudy’s first goal of the season, and Boqvist’s second goal of the season. Classic Stars (Wedgewood).

And that’s what he does. Makes a save he has no business making so that the optics of his performance are skewed, and then lets in goals as soft as baby *poo poo*.

Anyways, Jackets are about to get only their sixth road win of the season.

Even with the soft goal against, only scoring one against Columbus is *fargin'* embarrassing.

Don't see the free goal rule very often.

Putting slow sloth Sütër with his weak wristers in the last minutes of the game to try to score is a recipe for success for sure.

And Faksa might be due for a conditional stint in AHL. He will never be asked to be a proficient producer in offense, not even reach the 40-pt mark in a season -- we are well beyond that. But the lack of effort he's giving reached a new level. So maybe we can stop with the good-defensive-forward-and-penalty-killer-that-wins-tons-of-faceoffs BS.

One downside of the cap situation is the Stars can’t afford to healthy scratch a forward to send a message. Otherwise, Faksa, Marchment, and Seguin would all deserve a stint upstairs for shame.
