11/5 @ Edmonton (now PM CT) - McDavid 21 Ditka 28

Post by Troy McClure »

There’s a game starting.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

Yeah I was waiting for Math LOL.

McDavid & Draisaitl vs Wedgewood is nothing to be excited about though ...

Simple Jack eh.

So McDavid scored his first ever NHL goal against the Stars. Who was in goal for us? You guessed it.

Frank Stallone.

The photos from Edmonton are amazing with everything covered in snow this early.

Campbell got so lost. He kicked the rebound out right to where he didn’t want it to go and was cooked afterwards.

So the Oilers either score all of their goals in the 1st, or the 3rd. Mostly the 3rd. So if we don’t have a 5-goal lead heading into that, so that we can win 5-4, then it is not going to end well LOL.

We spent all of the Tippett years griping about the Stars sleepwalking for 50 minutes before pouring it on. I guess when you have McDavid, Drai, and Kane, it can work.

No shot is a bad shot when the goalie is blaming his glove.

The Oilers defensive coverage is terrible in their own zone.

Nostalgic Jack wearing the glove he wore for the Stars AHL system for a decade.

Maybe don’t give the Oilers power plays. Just a thought.

So Wedgewood.

Great in the first 20 minutes of every game. Horrible in the last 20 minutes.

I don't know if it's stamina or focus or what but it's a pattern.

Could still be an interesting 3rd.

They have 7 wins though because they usually score at least 5.

I scrolled back in the game thread and realized everyone had already made the same points as me.

But did I do them better? Discuss
