11/1 vs Kings (7:30PM CT) - Día de los Heridos

Post by Math »

...which precedes the Día de les Muertos on Nov. 2nd.

Heiskanen: game-time decision, but surely out per DeBoer.
Öttinger: week-to-week

So Wedgewool starts. Could be a funny game.

Wedgewood is a very deceptive goalie. He can make a bunch of great saves and look like he's battling, but then when the game ends, he's given up three goals. And you can say, "Well, he faced a lot of tough shots and made some good saves to keep them in it." But then you realize you're saying this after every one of his games. The dude doesn't keep scores low. He gives up a lot of goals. His last two appearances this season have been putrid where the second he got scored on his game fell apart.

Here are Wedgewood's goals against as a Star.

Last season

Better hope the PP gets cooking again. This team is going to need to outscore their goaltending.

Miro is back. No pressure dude, but we've all been told the team will win when you return.

Got the LA feed *Dang all Get out*. So subscribing to this new broadcasting thing means having systematically the opponent feed...

Center Ice seemed random for years, but then they eventually offered you both feeds to let you pick.

For the first 15 minutes Centre Ice was showing me an NBC Chicago Sports fantasy football talking heads show before finally switching over to the Stars broadcast mid play LOL.

Total domination after the first and only leading by one. Wedgewood should see more action from.

Speaking about goalies, they are quite a fascinating species: they receive a 84.4-mi shot right in the mask, no problem. They are lightly tripped, they seem to be in the most unsustainable pain ever.

I had a goalie say goalie gear is well designed to stop shots but can also make falls uncomfortable because of how awkward the stuff is.

Stars Twitter seems to have been taken over by what seems like a 19 year old girl who thinks all of the players are hot. It's really strange these days.

Bogorad looks younger on TV. It’s weird seeing him at Connor’s games.

So weird how not punting leads to offensive production.

Man, that three goal explosion was crazy.

It’s funny how the Kings sort of sleepwalked through the entire third period. They knew it was over and we’re milking the clock.
