Happened again. Signal lost. Goal against. Jesus is trying to spare me heartburn.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

Johnston doesn't want to be sent back down.

And the Kanata curse continues, the last win there was in March 2016. Too bad, it we would have pushed it in OT, the Stars would have tied their best start in franchise history getting at least a point in their first six games.

They were a bit less in every aspects of the game. Less quick, less precise, less battles won, often out of sync, lots of passes in the skates or too long, bad decisions. Wedgewood was perfect until the Sens' second goal and it was all doors open since. They put the same gameplan in place than in Montréal, they were the only team on the ice the first 10 minutes but then Ottawa came back and the Stars never managed to get their game back, also because of the wagon of penalties they got.

On the good side, Peterson showed more abilities in one game than Gurianov in two years, the PK remained solid. Those kind of games will happen again, let's see this one as a good wake-up call. Bottom line, no real time to digest it as they play in Boston tomorrow.

And hopefully part of the wakeup call is learning being aggressive doesn't have to mean putting your stick in dude's skates.

I wonder if we'll see some more line juggling heading tomorrow.

I guess so. Putting Gurianov with Seguin and Marchment messed up things, why not have Dell'Andrea back with #27 and #91 again? that line did well against Nashville. And then you have Benn with the youngs. Of course, assuming you don't touch the first line and the fourth as the Faksa line did a good job against Toronto and Montréal.
