10/20 @ Toronto (6PM CT) - Wedgewood?

Post by Troy McClure »

The Stars have a wonderful opportunity tonight to send the city of Toronto into complete turmoil. Toronto lost to Arizona on Monday, and the Toronto press appears to be on the verge of melting down.

Looks like same roster and same lines for the Stars. But it also appears Wedgewood is getting the start. Not really sure why when there are some crappier teams coming up on the road trip.

The Leafs are starting Samsonov.

Wedgewood is from Ontario so a hometown thing maybe.

For some reason Toronto seems to foil us a lot. Not optimistic.

Not optimistic either. After losing again two bottom teams, Toronto will be pissed, so are their fans.

True, but when all you do is turtle, it gives offensive teams more and more time in the offensive zone. May be different now.

Yeah but they'll be back to their Stars ways soon enough, right? Maybe.

DeBoer with a bit of a psychological game. He knows the turtle tendency and is having players look at who is in goal to try to scare them into wanting to keep the puck.

Maybe they only told Wedgewood he was starting so he’d buy a bunch of tickets for his family and then they’ll scratch him right before the game.

Nice fat rebound right in the slot. That’s some bad rebound control from Samsonov.

It turns out that trying to score goals and not just trying prevent them is a better game plan against Toronto.

Wedgewood needs his teammates to be a bit quicker about telling him the puck isn't under him.

I've figured out why I hate the NFL on Amazon. I can't easily flip back and forth between it and hockey.

It works if you have Amazon prime open in a separate window.

Both d-men going to the same corner isn’t going to lead to anything good.

They’re going to see Seguin extending his hands and keep the call.

Man, Benn thought he had all the time in the world. And Suter was never going to be able to get back to help once Benn turned it over.

That "game" sucked.

and also *fargin'* benn.

and also evil robertson.

thought 3 of the 8 stars penalties were pretty cheesy and it could've been closer to evenly called.
