dang I guess it is because I watched them in cedar park, just thought they'd stay young forever, lol . This team looks really good at times and mediocre at times. Whatever they are, they're fun to watch.

I can’t believe Dillon is still in the league.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

And he is having some pretty good looks since you said that.

Time for you to praise Gurianov.

It’s kind of bullshit to see a guy got cut and then to go through video until you find something you think can be a penalty.

It was definitely.tjr butt end of his stick. However, it was totally inadvertent and they didn't see it happen in real time?

Right. Kiviranta isn’t exactly a big guy and was fishing for the puck. Don’t bend down that far if you don’t want a guy’s knob in your face.

Went into the 3rd trailing and scored zero goals. No practice tomorrow. Everyone gets a C.

First time in franchise history where a new coach is going 3-0 in his first three games.

Also I will take it when, even if they aren’t playing well, the default seems to be “let’s score” instead of “let’s try and prevent more goals.”

The ice time distribution has been fascinating, Which forward got the most time? Seguin! Ty Dellandrea second. And every player is killing penalties. I love that. Pavelski had an easy night, with just, 13:37 TOI. That’s helpful for a long season.

The first three shifts, Seguin, Dellandea and Marchmant got eaten up by Winnipeg, then idk, the world shifted slightly on its axis.

The Jets came out strong on the first period with a high and relentless forecheck, it was obvious they couldn't hold this rhythm all 60 minutes long. The Stars never panicked despite allowing the first goal, Öttinger made key saves and they took control of the game from the second period. The philosophy is different too: putting the youngsters on special situations? Let's do this, finally they are given some trust. There's more freedom, more play with the puck, you can feel this fresh air. I won't be always pretty but at least there's more fun.

PK did a solid job. Early this summer I watched a long interview of Alain Nasreddine on TVAS when he was seeking for an assistant coach position in the league after being released by the Devils. He was used to work with kids and prospects, explained his philosophy, his approach, what he likes, and finally he got the position with the Stars. So far I think it's a good fit.

Bottom line, what to do with Gurianov... Another terrible outing for him, losing battles and taking bad decisions all the time. If DeBoer doesn't put him on the PP then what's his usage?

Yes. You have a forecheck like that the whole game and you'd deserve to win, but it seemed utterly unsustainable. At the end of it, things were tied anyway because of that amazing Seguin goal.
