Seems fine, depending on the price. He's having a nice little year for himself and helps give some of the middle six depth that the Stars lack. He's not a long-term guy but it's the kind of move that can help.

Winamp - it really whips the llama's ass.

I'm sure his offense will help some, but not a lot. He also kinda seems like an asshole, which may be why he can't stick around anywhere.

Does Phoenix have enough cap space left to take on Khudobin’s contract?

Maybe now the Stars can finally get some playoff contribution from a 2013 draft pick.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

Wait. Who the f*ck is Dylan Wells?

Is this finalized or are we talking lace before the robe is cut?

We swapped AHL goalies.

Also the pick being 2025 is nice. We’ll all be dead by then.

We turned Gurianov and Khudobin into Dadonov and Domi. Nice. One more trade though please and thank you?

See if someone will take Glendenning or Kiviranta to clear them off the cap and roster.

Also our picks won't be worth as much in 2025 cuz of the consecutive Cups.

Exactly. Boeser is still available for a pick if we can dump Faksa+ on somebody LOL.

Not even kidding, someone on Reddit wrote a multi-paragraph dissertation on how Kiviranta should be an untouchable asset in a trade discussion.

I've always like Domi but be warned, he's one of the worst defensive forwards in the entire NHL and routinely puts out zero effort. But he also scores, so...

I bet whoever wrote that is from Finland.

How are they going to handle it when Nill doesn’t even make Kiviranta an offer this summer?

One thing I noticed from his playing the Stars is that he has the ability to score when left completely wide open. Not a lot of Stars can say that.

At some point you have to say 49 points in 60 games means he gets a pass on playing defense.

So Nill traded next year's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round picks for next year in a last ditch effort to make it past the first round and keep his job one more year?

2025: 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th
2023 draft
- 3rd rounder traded last season for Wedgewood - he's been fine
- 1st rounder traded in preseason for Lundkvist - appears to have been done because they didn't think Harley could play in the NHL this season - Lundkvist has been disappointing but not terrible - this could turn out to be a fine trade if he improves beyond this mediocre rookie season

2024
- 4th rounder traded to the Wings last season to rent Namestnikov - he sucked and added nothing, but who gives a *poo poo* about fourth rounders

2025
- 4th rounder also part of the Lundkvist trade - if he gets to 55 total points by the end of next season, this bumps up to a 3rd rounder - at his current point pace, he's not going to get there. The healthy scratches may be part of a ploy to ensure he doesn't satisfy the condition.
- 2nd rounder traded for Domi - I guess if Domi goes out and pulls a Zuccarello to immediately get hurt this will be a failed trade, but really AI will have taken over the globe by then, so who cares.

Lundkvist Is worth the 1st. He’s no Miro, but he’ll be solid in time.

The most important thing is that we kept all our fifths.

I like the Domi trade and yeah, he may be a bit of an a*hole but isn't what the Stars need a bit? Quit being one of the softest team in the League? He can play as center or as winger, this gives the team flexibility and more options to the second PP unit.

Both the Dadonov and Domi trades have gotten around a B trade grade from places and that seems about right. I think they bolster the depth without spending a crazy amount for a team that's good but not stacked like some of the East teams. I think the Stars are definitely a better and deeper team with the trades.

Nill should also make a similar change of scenery deal with Damiani.
