It look like we've got nothing tonight.
Another shutout?

Probably a franchise record of SOG allowed after regulation in the playoffs...

Yeah, one of the best in the league. The Flames are what the Stars like to pretend they are.

I wouldn't have broken up the top line. They had one goal from two marginal calls.

How sad is it that being down by a goal or two is fundamentally the end of the game for the Stars.

The Stars deserve to get scored on when fans are doing the *fargin'* sing along while losing.dyhp wrote: ↑Mon May 09, 2022 11:03 pmWe're half way there..ohhhhh ohhhh living on a prayerTroy McClure wrote: ↑Mon May 09, 2022 11:01 pm The Stars are down two goals in the third, and the music guy is still trying to tee up a stupid fan sing-along? I was sure that Flames' storm wouldn't have lasted longer than one period. *fargin'* climate warming...
And Benn with the useless fight. Well, half-useless maybe.

My prediction of Stars in 7 with 6 games going to shutouts is still on track.

Seguin shoots a rolling puck for a nice goal. Hope raised.
Dumb penalty. Hope crushed.

At least it was interesting in terms of outcome for like 30 seconds.

This one was hard to watch. I don't think I've ever rolled my eyes so hard and so often for a hockey game before. Pavelski and Klingberg were dogshit all game, incapable of making a single decent pass. True for most of the team, sure, but those two really stood out. Even Robertson looked scared of the puck.

Stars with no possession and some long tired shifts out there. They were beat way before the third period.

If Calgary goes back to trying to fight everyone like drunk Irishmen, the Stars have a chance. If Calgary decides to play like last night where they posses the puck and dictate the pace and play, Dallas is done. Dallas can't compete with Calgary when Calgary is on their game, even if the Stars are also on their game.

Ha, I just saw the Gaudreau penalty shot. So THAT'S how the only move Benn knows is supposed to work.

It was a super slick move to slide it where he did.ScubaSteve wrote: ↑Tue May 10, 2022 9:22 am Ha, I just saw the Gaudreau penalty shot. So THAT'S how the only move Benn knows is supposed to work.
Also, after Gaudreau's penalty shot goal, the Stars didn't even attempt a shot on goal for the next 4+ minutes of the third period. During the span between the penalty shot and the Stars attempting a shot over four minutes later, the Flames attempted 11 shots and scored on one of them.
