So for the sake of our sanity we need to make even more jokes than we did in 2020.
I honestly didn't see anything about this team that looked qualified for a deep run and still don't.

But I do like to see them frustrating the *f-bomb* out of one of the league's most talented teams for at least a couple.
If you want to count 2020 as an aberration, just think back to our 2019 run. It has felt very similar.
I'm not gonna go that far after one win and one real goal. That was a special run.

That would be cool but I doubt it happens.

It wasn’t even that special LOL. This stupid team is built to be an annoying and frustratingly hard out.

And now we get to go through the Pacific instead of the Central due to our “incompetence”.

Anyways, all that just to say that I think you’re wrong.

This was also a strange game. 13 minor penalties were called in the first two periods, but there were only five PPs out of it because the refs kept calling offsetting penalties. Then they stopped calling anything in the third.

I'm expecting to see more from Calgary's PP.

Contract year or not, the term “Playoff Gaudreau” has existed for a while for a reason LOL.

Gaudreau played a very quiet 20 minutes. He seems to be stuck floating along the boards making bad pases.

I don't think the Stars deserved to win the last half, but so it goes. Oettinger was phenomenal.
Winamp - it really whips the llama's ass.

I feel like Calgary wasn't being creative. They were just being real direct and obvious with their chances. It was predictable and maybe they weren't loose enough.

There's a lot to go here.

I'm sticking with Stars in 7 but would like to append that 6 of the games will be shutouts and one will be a 7-6 OT win.

They also seem to get easily sucked into trying to be physical. If you're the better team, getting distracted by checks and fights and crap after the whistle isn't a good sign of mental focus.

That's exactly how Vegas lost to us.

And also how the Stars gave a game away to Vegas getting caught up chasing Reaves around the ice.

The important thing, though, is that you stand up for yourself and don't let anyone push you around.

Winning is actually pretty gay.

As long as the Stars are the peskiest team on the ice, that’s what matters
