Benn taking a wrister from distance with no other teammate in the zone was a buzzkill.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

That’s the closest thing he can get to a look on the rush.

Calgary's PP looks dangerous with how well they move the puck, but they're not turning the movement into high quality shots.

Funny how the Calgary PA music selections seem like the same rotation they've been using since 1994.

I'm so reluctant to praise him because doing so seems to summon a goal against.
Any time Razor complements him I knock on wood...ala Derian Hatcher. Remember when he would be in the penalty box he would always knock on wood (the bench)

Flames look nervous all of a sudden. Lots of panic plays with the puck.

Wow.

The Flames with 0 even strength goals after 2 games at home... against a lowly 7th seed. They cannot be happy about that.

That Pavelski tip -- the only even strength goal in the series -- was pretty awesome though.

The dam has to burst at some point, though, right?

It's all due to the amazing coaching of Rick Bowness.

Pretty sure we're all in agreement there.

The national guys on TBS are super pissed at Calgary now to be laying this egg against a team in Dallas that "backed its way into the playoffs".

Gretzky though at least handed a little credit to the Stars for playing amazing defense and Oettinger for playing amazing goalie.

I have to be honest that the Stars've actually played coverage much better than they did in the regular season consistently. Kinda thought they'd lay down by now.

I had a feeling in my balls that we’d be “okay” come playoff time, I just really wasn’t looking forward to the incredibly stressful nature of the way that we usually win games. So for the sake of our sanity we need to make even more jokes than we did in 2020.

I honestly didn't see anything about this team that looked qualified for a deep run and still don't.

But I do like to see them frustrating the *f-bomb* out of one of the league's most talented teams for at least a couple.

If you want to count 2020 as an aberration, just think back to our 2019 run. It has felt very similar.
