04/26 vs Golden Knights (7:30PM CT) - win to get in
Re: 04/26 vs Golden Knights (7:30PM CT) - win to get in
After Klingberg leaves who will be our best back checking defenseman?

That was weird. Klingberg wants an early summer.
Re: 04/26 vs Golden Knights (7:30PM CT) - win to get in
The guys are making absolutely everything to blow it in regulation. Without success so far.

Those were some very uncharacteristic and unforced turnovers.

I'm not exactly sure what the hell what the Stars are doing in this OT . They seem to be seriously overthinking things.
Should've been Vegas penalties though.

My first three shooters would be:
Glenn Danzig, Faksa, Lindell
Glenn Danzig, Faksa, Lindell

smart move. The other team won't have the book on them.Knives Out wrote: ↑Tue Apr 26, 2022 10:22 pm My first three shooters would be:

The whole game is an epic battle of two average teams trying not to win.

Faksa is the fifth shooter and even Razor laughed at Faksa's attempt

And there but for the grace of Glenn Danzig goes a playoff bound team.

I'd have gone with Suter instead of Heiskanen but it's only my personal opinion.

Suter woulda walked in a fired a weak wrister into the stomach. Don't wanna get caught deep in case they take it the other way and you might have to back check.

Not to Monday Morning Quarterback, but I agree Suter would've had an even sicker backhand move there.

Bowness rolls out Faksa and Namestnikov before Klingberg or Heiskanen or Gurianov? Yeah, ok.
And let me get this straight. Win it in regulation, and you’re in. So when almost the last two minutes of the game goes 4 on 4, Bowness doesn’t put out any of the guys from his top line and instead cycles through the whole 2nd and 3rd lines. It’s like he was playing for OT.

In fairness to Namestnikov, unlike the others he had actually scored a goal in the last month.

Also, this shootout was a nice demonstration of Oettinger figuring out how to stop breakaways. It was his biggest weakness last season, and him being good at them makes him much more valuable.

Robertson is special. He's also going to get a mega contract this summer.
