Vegas have their #1 and #2 goalies out, I'm sure they are really happy to have kicked Fleury out of town.

I'm still seeing LA out of the playoffs and yeah, Vancouver might sneak in.

I could easily see Vancouver being really good next season, making a Flames-esque jump. Boudreau just always seems to squeeze the best out of his lineups. Too bad we never ever ever had a chance to hire him.

Note, Spezza is the goal scorer. While that one was easy, he has 11 goals and 22 points in 67 games this season.

They are mad because they want him to break the -50 mark in +/-, which would be some sort of record in the League modern era. Even Yashin of the dreadful Senators' inaugural season didn't manage to get that low.

Vegas has had an EBUG at practice yesterday and morning skate today, but now DeBoer is saying Lehner will be the backup tonight.

Was Lehner wanting to sit out the rest of the season and got told no?

Well, Vegas had a 2-goal lead with two minutes remaining in the third against the Sharks, then allowed the tying goal with 0.9 sec. remaining and lost it in SO. Ouch.

So, apparently the 2018 Canadian World Juniors team was very naughty. Somebody got a hold of a lawsuit/settlement between Hockey Canada and a woman who claims 8 players from that team sexually assaulted her. The specific players involved haven’t been identified, but that roster was pretty loaded with now-current NHLers, including Makar.

Makar was probably 5 years old at that time, so I'd discard him. Anyway, I love this kind of morbid curiosity: let's google this roster and start the hunt.

The challenge here is a league like the NHL is poorly equipped to do anything. The NHL doesn't have police powers and can't force anyone to testify or hand over photos or other records. It's why these league investigations are always so poorly done. The league probably doesn't even know how much the settlement was.
