ESPN’s coverage is 1,000% better than NBC. Everyone actually seems to be enjoying what they are doing instead of sitting around glowering.

And with the 14th 15th overall pick, the Dallas Stars select ... no one, because we swapped picks with Detroit and will be picking 23rd now.

The other picks we received from them are #48 and #138 (which is where our 15th overall pick is probably ranked LOL).

Detroit is going to select Wallstedt or Cossa and that player will go on to be an All-Star in like 4 years.

If Yzerman wants to trade up for someone, maybe just draft that someone.

Yzerman’s first round record is horrible actually. If he trades down, though….

The Wild also trade up to get their goalie - Jesper Wallstedt 20th overall.

Great! A third line center.

Looks like everyone had him ranked around 50th, so definitely a Stars pick.

Mavrik in 2020, and Wyatt in 2021.

We need to draft a Sawyer in 2022.

I've never even heard of a team drafting a guy named Wyatt and then not immediately winning the Stanley Cup.

I thought for sure the Stars were gonna select either Aatu Räty or Samu Tuomaala LOL. And they prolly should have ...

Pronman doesn’t hate it, so maybe it’s fine. I just get tired of seeing other teams take guys who are “dynamic” or “creative” and Dallas always ends up taking guys who are “oh that’s a guy who will definitely take up space in the NHL.”
