When did the protection lists come out last time? Was it the day before?
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

I can't recall, but I'd assume that they'd have more than one day to pick their team though LOL.

Awesome, thanks. I know the Vegas example wasn't a good one to look at because the league never intended to make the protection lists public and only did so after someone realized it would generate a couple of fun days of media buzz.

According to CapFriendly, Duncan Keith only makes $1.5m next year. His contract was heavily front loaded.

He's completely washed, though, and I believe his contract is subject to the BS cap recapture penalties.

Two HSO's making the rounds:

- Keith was willing to testify, so they shipped him out. Expect more.

- Drouin tried to kill himself ...

Edmonton was the only NHL city geographically where Keith can keep his wife far enough away from Sharp

Let's see if this is a good strategy to get the Masterton.

The Keith rumor makes no sense. How does trading him change anything?

So I don't watch the Wild. I'm sure Suter is overpaid by that contract, but is he actually terrible now? Or just not great and getting him on a lower value deal may be fine?
