Can't wait for the "OTL Champions" banner raising ceremony next year.

"Inglorious OTL Basterds"

An OT loss on a Hawks breakaway in PP with Benn in the box after leading 51-17 in SOG would be good tribute to this season.

At stake tonight is the possibility of improving one draft spot. If the Stars lose in regulation and the Flyers win, then the Stars draft 13th. Any other mix of results sees the Stars drafting 14th.

Yes, we want to make sure to maximize our chances of drafting Blake Comeau's replacement at denting the goalie's chest protector.

I hope a tribute video or something of that kind is planned for Comeau and Cogliano's last game with the Stars.

Nill is re-signing both of them. No question.

Final report on Oettinger:

Built like Bishop
Consistent as Khudobin
As good as Kari on breakaways and first shots

The Stars look set to finish the season losing 7 of the final 8 games.

Watching Kane skate in by himself and just *f-bomb* around and hold the puck for 30 seconds is funny.

And Klingberg continues to show he has eyes for offense few others on the team do.

Tonight's grocery list after 20:

First shot against not saved
Bonus: first two shots against not saved
Öttinger failed save on a breakaway
Massive domination in SOG and still a loss
Failed 2-on-0 breakaway
Cogliano misses wide open net
Benn leadership penalty
Pavelski's 1 pt./game
OTL loss
Klingberg lethal turnover
Pointless fight

Cross "Cogliano misses wide open net" off your list, and add "a PP with no shots".

I wonder if Cogliano is retiring. Razor with an odd statement about Cogliano being in the 11th hour of his career.

He's only 33 but Niskanen retired early so it's possible.

Razor's just filibustering, there's nothing else to talk about with this group.

Have the Hawks decided two goals is enough to win?
