Knives Out wrote:Alrighty then. So here are the only remaining scenarios where we make the playoffs:

1) Nashville loses both remaining games in regulation against Carolina, AND, we take 5 of 6 points (come on 15th extra-time loss!).

2) Nashville goes 0-1-1, AND, we take 6 of 6 points.

A single Nashville win of any kind, or a single Stars regulation time loss will officially eliminate us ...

And Robo is now 4-points back of Kaprizov with 4 less games played.

Two options:

McElhinney starts >> 1% chance to make the playoffs.
Vasilievsky starts >> ok, forget it.

McElhinney in net for Tampa; Hintz, Gurianov and the Stars are game-time decisions.

LOL I just realized the Bally app never refreshed and I was watching half a period of Thursday's game. My last post was laughing at Tyler Johnson scoring on the first shot of the game for Tampa.

Khudobin still being a bonehead.

Lightning broadcast talking about his propensity to give up shitty rebounds.

And about how today is the two-year anniversay of Fat Maroon eliminating us in Game 7 Double OT ...

Missed the first period, so let’s see if the optimism can continue.

I don’t know why players remove those plastic ear hole covers.

Pavelski from a dead stop took a lot of time to get too the net, but he was able to protect the puck. Pavelski has been so good. It’s such a shame his season has been wasted.

We have both Severn and Razor talking about his third period like the Stars need to play afraid and cautious. Ugh.... turtling up is how you lose these leads.

JFK is not listening to them.

And it is helping our pitiful goal differential.

Just watched the highlights... damn, Tampa lost a lot of battles that led directly to Dallas goals. Hedman with the brain fart that led to Pav's slo-mo breakaway, Hintz somehow beating two Tampa defenders along the boards for Pav's second goal... horrible game for them. Good.

If I'm Seattle I'm probably taking Pavelski at this point. If I'm Dallas I'm signing Oleksiak and leaving Lindell exposed, assuming that Seattle won't take him and his bloated contract.
