I'll start with the Rangers-Caps game. If it doesn't turn into a masterpiece slaughter after the first period, I'll switch back to the Stars game.

Good to know Seguin can actually move. He had quite a game.

My god. It's amazing how good teams get good bounces. Oleksiak getting his skate on the pass should be something good. He did his job well, but the puck instead goes right to the forehand of Tyler Johnson. You can't defend unlucky bounces.

I swtiched over to the Rangers vs Capitals game instead. On Wilson's first shift Brendan Smith went right after him, and Wilson won the fight imo LOL.

Apparently I missed a line brawl while the Lightning were scoring on us:

Strome vs. Eller. I'd say it's tie.

Smart to throw Wilson out there at the puck drop to get it over with.

This is one of those things a team does to stand up for a teammate, but Wilson won't care. He feeds off of opponents losing their minds.

And the shot of the Caps bench is funny. There are five guys on the bench.

Well they're expected to beat Columbus, it's the last two games against Carolina that are interesting. They have yet to beat them this season, and the Hurricanes are still trying for top spot in the Central. Which is weird to say LOL.

I don't think that's "bounces" so much as just what tends happens when you have a deep, skilled team versus a team that is...not.

Oettinger remains really awful at deciding how to handle guy one one one.

Hilarious turnover, but what a great goal. To Troy's point earlier, Tampa has guys with killer instinct who can capitalize on luck or the other team's *f-bomb* ups.

It's why you can have a guy like Cooper who coaches as much defensive responsibility as Bowness but the results are different because, when Tampa gets the puck on their sticks, they have more guys able to make something happen with it.

That goal came from a smart forecheck the same way their first goal came off of a smart poke in the neutral zone.

The Athletic article about bad shooters had Sekera on the list for one of the players who gets the most of his shots blocked. Well, it actually worked out here. The shot block turned into a goal.

Welp. Might as well tie it up at 4 and then let them win it with less than a minute left.
