FC Rangers. Just kidding.

Texas, but only because I live here and they're mentioned on the Ticket a few times a week. Otherwise, it would be the NY team.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

Location matters big time. I'm in Canada, and the New York Rangers are an original six team, so ...

I am always secretly extremely disappointed when I remember the "Rangers" are just some white dudes with guns fighting brown people instead of white dudes with swords fighting nazguls.

Grew up in NY. The Texas Rangers name has been a problem for me ever since I got here.

They should go back to being called the Texas Washington Senators.

I vote for Texas Baseball Club but as the name is surely reserved for Cleveland, I'd go for Texas Instruments.

Ironically, both teams are named after the actual police Texas Rangers.

No, totally mostly wrong.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tex_Rickard
Founder of MSG and NY Rangers
"Following the success of the New York Americans in the Garden's first year, the Madison Square Garden Corporation decided to establish a second team, this one controlled by the corporation itself. The new team was nicknamed "Tex's Rangers" and later became known as the New York Rangers.[43]"

"Rangers" was also the name given to local militia in the Revolutionary War. Growing up this is what we we told the team referred to as the meaning of their name.

I still call them Tex's Rangers because I'm an NHL originalist.

The actual Texas Rangers, not the baseball team.
