Bally Sports must be rolling in dough if they can afford to broadcast so much dead airspace.

Winning in OT would do more good than losing.

We haven't scored a goal in 6 periods.

If it's still 0-0 after regulation, let's swap the final playoff spot to the 5th position in the Pacific.

I think this is one of those things where an OT win barely moves the chances of making the playoffs.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

Good news: this period is moving faster due to fewer stoppages. Gets the inevitable demise here sooner.

Yeah, he looks like he’s playing through some sort of injury. He’s nowhere near as mobile as usual.

I can’t believe any of these guys are still standing. This schedule is just so unreasonable. I *poo poo* on these guys a lot, but it’s honestly impressive that they’re still in the mix at all.

And on that note, Dickinson is gone for the game.

Offsetting minors changes nothing. If the ref made this 4 on 4, we might see a goal.

Do you think we’ll get the leadership penalty in the last two min of regulation? Or save it for OT?

Nashville is content sending this to OT because it pretty much guarantees they retain the standings tie breaker.

And they know it. They just had to go in OT, which makes this one almost useless.

I really hope they play him. I want to know how much to lower the bar next season depending on how he skates.

I know it was PK time, but again WTF is doing Comeau on the ice and WTF is he doing standing at the blue line waiting for some hypothetic odd-man rush ?

Comeau was also sent out when there was only something like ten seconds left in the penalty.

So I have to watch the nhl.com highlights, which are always exactly five minutes long whether it's 13-10 or 1-0.

Well... let's just say that the 'highlights' they picked are pretty hilarious. Shots from the point that hit the pads. Faceoffs. Shots that missed the net entirely.

Surprised they didn’t mix in a couple of well-executed line changes.

Not able to see this one, but I guess I’ve seen this one before. Had to chuckle when I saw the score.
