If you want to trade Miro + Pavelski for Eichel to make the cap work, then be my guest.

Hintz + Lindell would probably be the starting point for any such deal.

I've gotta think the Sabres would want guys under 23. Lindell can't be on their radar. They aren't in win now mode.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

They don’t seem to be in much of a win later mode either

This is obviously a complete pipe dream. But teams seem to value Lindell, and he's still young enough that he's got a few good years left. But he also makes the cap work.

I can’t believe the Coyotes haven’t acquired some of those contracts to go nicely on the spreadsheet with Datsyuk and Pronger.

I’ve heard of prospects blowing up or flaming out, but this is ridiculous.

Depending on where he got hit, “do you know how I got these scars?” might be appropriate as well.

The accident occurred at the house of Manny Legace, who is Columbus' goalie coach. He played primarily for the Blues and Red Wings during his NHL career. Proving the hockey community is a small one, my son Evan played on a junior team with Manny Legace III and keeps in touch a little with him. The Legace's daughter had just had her wedding that day. Kivlinieks was at Legace's house because he was personal friends with the family and had been there for the wedding. Very very tragic.

Since it hit the goalie straight in the chest, has anyone checked to see if Brett Ritchie had an alibi?
