Huge mistake, they should’ve signed Wheat Chasecroft instead.

If you want a Stars (or other) jersey, better hurry and buy it if you want any semblance of quality.

I am so mad. This decision is being universally panned, and rightly so. It is also a TEN YEAR contract. *f-bomb* you, NHL.

Sounds like Fanatics is on the way to a jersey monopoly. They already make all of the MLB and NFL jerseys as well.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

It’s not even the 10-year deal to me. It’s a 10-year deal with FANATICS. Their stuff is objectively trash.

Their replica jerseys are awful: Quality, sizing, shape, etc. It is said that the authentic jersey will be almost the same as Adidas and manufactured in the same factory. This remains to be confirmed...
On a retailer standpoint, many of them were disappointed with Adidas because of the lack of communication and because they were terrible business partners working in total opacity with no customer service at all. That's what I was told from some of them.

Fanatics is owned by private equity and the NFL. Private equity makes money by buying companies, cutting expenses as much as possible by firing staff and slashing product quality, and then turning around and selling the company for a profit. If you think their quality is *poo poo* now, wait until they IPO and the private equity owners cash out.
