At least list Benn as an Anchor.

Good first period, lots of opportunities, and then a bad tying goal by the Avs.

Period 2 and 3 are going to be terrible.

An incredibly lazy change by Benn on that goal against

And that second goal: Lazyness elevated at the state of art with the help of a shaky Bishop tonight.

Is that the first time in NHL history a non-Ovechkin Russian has scored on a one timer?

Gurianov probably has the best shot on the team.

I’m sorry but Gurianov is good. It’s time to admit this.

I'm willing to admit he's less of a waste of oxygen than Dickinson or Janmark. That is all.

Stars played pretty decent. Avs had their push. Not scoring on their lengthy 5-3 doomed them. Good kill and momentum shift for the Stars. Two points, thank you. AZ isn’t going to be easy.

Janmark is fast and while he doesn’t seem to know how to score anymore he is a great killer and defender, we need those pieces.

Agreed. I was wrong. His trajectory is similar to Loui Eriksson's. Eriksson was dead weight in his rookie season.

+ Overall better defense, Stars played more responsible, focused and regrouped
+ Gurianov. Yes, he is good and he's improving as long as the season goes
+ The win. Colorado's missed opportunity on 5vs3 gave us a chance to come back. Can't spit on these two points, no matter the way we got them
+ Great improvement on the PK as well, against one of the best team in PP

- Same pattern again: good 1st, terrible 2nd and trailing hockey in the 3rd
- Too many shots allowed again
- Despite his saves, I found Bishop quite unsure with a lot of rebounds allowed. He has his responsabilities in each of the Avs goals.
- Hintz (less used forward yesterday) and Heiskanen to a lesser extent. They are the shadow of themselves compared to the season start

? I guess we should print in our mind that we pay a guy $7.5M per only for the shootout. Same for #10: he's not Perry. It's just a bottom-6 guy who got a one-season tryout contract just to screen the goalie and be some sort of agitator.
? The general woes of this team. Hope that this win doesn't cover the things to be fixed urgently.

Sure, you need those guys on the 3rd and 4th lines. But it's also not someone worth signing to any sort of decent money.
