Don't let certain people hear you say that Honka is anything less than the second coming of Orr, possibly even Fistric.

So the Leafs are playing hardball with Nylander. He’s prime for an offer sheet. Toronto is obviously worried about signing Matthews and Marner next year. It’s hard to believe a rival team hasn’t gone for it. Is it some old boys club or what?

Yes. That’s why no one offer sheets anyone.

Chayka in Phoenix (they’ll always be Phoenix to me, Elaine) is the youngest GM in league history, so it’d be up to him to start bucking that trend, unfortunately it would be at the expense of Dubas, who is the second youngest GM in league history, so ... the problem should be resolved by Dubas offer sheeting his own player.

Nightmare fuel. I enjoyed the comments on the twitter announcement which just posted pictures of Hartnell or Voracek with long hair and beards.

It looks like Ron Weasley fucked an Oompa Loompa, and then the Slenderman's redneck cousin raised the bastard offspring on a diet of Faygo, Krispy Kremes, and a solid playlist of the Bullet Boys.

Just thought of it. That penis of an owner in Carolina seems like a candidate to offer sheet Nylander. He's the real GM and everybody already *fargin'* hates him.

He stormed into the job saying he was going to shake *poo poo* up, but then he went ahead and hired a 'safe' former player coach and the ultimate retread GM. I doubt he'll offer sheet anybody.

I COULD see Dubas doing it, but maybe he won't because he's afraid that if he does someone will offersheet his young and amazing RFAs.

Yes but everybody knows that those two were only hired to be puppet mouthpieces for that penis!

Bill Peters was like nah and peaced of his own volition. When do coaches ever quit on their players like that instead of being fired or retiring?
Rod gets offered his first ever head coaching gig (that includes all levels of hockey LOL).
I wonder how easy it'd be to manipulate the rookiest of all rookie coaches in the history of hockey, especially after you give him such an opportunity ...

Ron Francis wasn't playing ball so he was "promoted/demoted" and then terminated.
Every single self-respecting relevant GM declined to even be *fargin'* interviewed LOL.
In comes almost homeless Waddell ...

And Dubas offer sheeting his own player would again solve the Nylander issue.

And Seth Jones is out 4-6 weeks for the Blue Jackets because of an MCL strain.

I can’t imagine hockey radio ratings drive any amount of revenue in most US cities.

Terrestrial radio as a medium is dead. The whole industry is essentially bankrupt. I think even Sirius/XM is going by the wayside.

Isn't this kind of a slap in the face to the 5 Carolina Hurricanes fans out there?

That's so dumb. None of those fans watched the whalers play.
