It seems every time the Stars play a team that on a 2nd game of a back to back, that team is coming off a loss. Making the game against the Stars that much more meaningful. I don't know if there is anything to it or not?

Roussel-Spezza-Ritchie is the line I've been asking to see for a while. All your garbage on one line, which gives the other lines a fighting chance to score.

Kessel looks like he is morphing into Michael Moore.

I knew that was going to happen tonight. Nill’s handling of Oleksiak was absolutely terrible.

Also interesting to see opposing coaches co to use to send their backups to face the Stars. Tells you what teams think of the Stars offense.

I still think the offside challenge needs a time cutoff. If the offside happened 5 or 7 or whatever seconds before, it’s fine.

Still in this one, barely. Stars cannot afford to have anymore penalties. Remi Ellie and Dickinson getting something going for a bit. That line is getting better every game.

I hate these reviews. They add nothing to the game but delays and fewer goals, two things the game doesn’t need. No one watching the game thought it was offsides. None of us would have griped had the goal not been challenged.

There were a couple of puck races along the far boards in this third period where Benn was beaten to pucks he should have been able to reach. He’s got something wrong with him.

Still “like our team” Nill? I hope he gets fired. No activity at the deadline was bullshit.

Yet another game where the 80% of the roster contributed no threat to score a goal.

Poor effort all around in the 3rd. Very disappointing, this team plays so careless, Klingberg looked horrible, Methot sucks, Benn has a broken back, or at least it looks like it. Your not going to get to many more games where Kari lehtonen plays like that. He was great.

Re: 03/11 @ Pittsburgh
Of players that should be scratched, Benn tops my list. He's a constant source of turnovers and seems to be morphing into "Scrappy player who annoys the other team" instead of "skilled left wing who can also play physical".
Even Oleksiak was able to easily shut him down on that 3 on 1 because Benn took forever to decide to try and pass. When he shoots it's the same *poo poo*... Hold onto it forever until the dman closes in and defle ts the shot. Just overall shitty play from what is supposed to be a top line guy.

Never heard of him. Seems like an odd marketing choice for an American audience.

I agree, however NBC SPORTS NETWORK has a lot of Euro sports with the premier league (soccer), Formula 1, IndyCar etc. On that broadcast of the hockey game, I kept hearing a strange noise, anyone else hear that?

I’m not looking forward to 6-7 more years at 9.5 mil. He’s not that good.

I’ve been noticing this for a while, but man, the Stars just look wildly out of sync. Passes to no one one a regular basis, no cycle in the offensive zone, dump and chase but no real chase.

Yeah, they're basically the St. Louis Blues now.
Can't wait for Chicago to fire Quennville this summer, so we can get a real coach. Or Sheldon Keefe with the Marlies.
