Is there really any point? Just forfeit and avoid all the injuries.

They don't have ice girls according to their website.
Stars 34
Jets 0
Oh wait, they have Laine?
Stars 34
Jets 36 ( Laine with 12 hat tricks)
Oh wait, we have Gemel Smith? But they have Byfuglien!?
It's a toss up

The women in the foreground are doing a great job of sweeping as they should, but why aren't the women in the background making sandwiches or doing laundry?

They aren't women. They are men in drag.

So Oleksiak is going to play forward?
Can't help but feel that Honka would have been better suited for that ...

That Oleksiak/Hanzal combo might be the slowest pairing in history.

Only if they're playing Snow White's team.

So... how many times do the Stars play the Jets? This is just the worst match up for the Stars.

The Stars are nowhere near as good as I thought they were going to be.
Maybe the pundits were right. Maybe the Stars are a bubble team at best.

Also, you know it is a bad sign when Razor is already breaking out the tired excuses in early November.

For all the money spent on forwards this summer, the sad reality is Nill probably needs to look at finding some help on the wing. Pushing Ritchie up to the 2nd line hasn't worked. To complicate the trade discussion, there is essentially zero cap space left (carrying 8 D for no reason for most of the season doesn't *fargin'* help the cap space situation).

I was just about to say how shitty the wings are. Aside from the top line, it's spare city. Spezza is forced to play with Roussel and Elie, and that's supposed to be our second line. Much like Ott, if Rousell is on your third line that's good. If he's playing on your second line, then your team is butt.

Re: 11/6 2 Winnipeg 2 Furious
Elie is just a dude. Spezza sucks this year so far. Ritchie will probably end up with an okay amount of goals but doesn't actually generate offense at all. Hanzal is underwhelming in the offensive zone. Janmark has flashes but isn't consistent. Roussel is doing what he always does, which is have some good games where he chips in, and others where he's invisible. Whatever though, a third liner can be like that. At least he contributes some.

This team has missed on enough wingers where it is now hurting the franchise. If only Nichushkin had panned out

Yeah...when your most successful winger draft pick in the last decade is Reilly Smith, you're going to struggle.

Can we just swap Ritchie's with Anaheim? They score about the same PPG, but it sure seems like their's is more noticeable.

Yeah. We got stuck with the Kevin Hatcher of the two Ritchies.

Re: 11/6 2 Winnipeg 2 Furious
It's a shame we only saw the old version of Kevin Hatcher. I never got to see him in his prime. His numbers with the Capitals were great, and he was talked about highly. That was all from before the Stars moved to town, so I never knew of him.

Yeah, they are a big team, as are the Stars.
They are also a fast team, so much for comparisons.
