Looks like I won't be watching the Pens.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

*shudder*
And it sucks that Kelly Hrudey won't get to call the Flames in the playoffs.

Well, go hockey! I'm rooting for the Oil. I'd like to see Columbus do well, but they prolly won't get thru Pittsburg. And they fell apart down the stretch. Will be rooting for Jordie, of course. And our Anaheim draft pick, but only as a consolation prize. I think Washington is going to pull it off this year.

Re: 2017 NHL Playoffs
Tonight I've chosen to watch Rangers Habs and then Wild Blues.
I'm very surprised that the Habs pre-game ceremony lasted only 15 minutes instead of 30.
And LOL getting scored on by Tanner Glass.
Jordie -1.

Sucks NBCSN is showing that boring Wild game over the fun Oilers game.

It's on USA network. CNBC, USA, NBCSN, NBC and NHL Network will have all the games.

Lundqvist almost came to Dallas. He wanted to play here after we drafted his brother. But we selected some other dude instead.

Was. It really takes a total loser team to give up a playoff lead to Minnesota in the waning minutes of the game.

You don't know this story? We drafted Joel in the 3rd round, and considered drafted Henrik in one of the later rounds, but we decided we were good because we had just burned a 2nd rounder on Dan Ellis, so instead we proceeded to use our remaining five picks all on Russians, none of whom ever played a game in the NHL.

On the flip side, Tarasenko seems to be having a tough time scoring playoff goals against non-Lehtonen.

I wonder if Hitch was the one who vetoed the original Nieuwendyk trade because he wanted to keep Todd Harvey's grit.
