Yeah, Vegas is small.
I'm going to re-submit my Mexico City idea again.

The people that actually live in Vegas generally don't have a lot of disposable income either.
Winamp - it really whips the llama's ass.

And the people visiting aren't going to choose to buy hockey tickets.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

Re: NHL Expansion
Seattle NHL group registers names
The 13 names are the Cougars, Eagles, Emeralds, Evergreens, Firebirds, Kraken, Rainiers, Renegades, Sea Lions, Seals, Sockeyes, Totems and Whales.
Some of the names hold significance in the Seattle area. The Rainiers were a Pacific Coast League baseball team that operated in Seattle for decades, while Totems were a Western Hockey League team that ceased operation in 1975.

Re: NHL Expansion
Cougars - Don’t use a name that instantly makes you the butt of memes.
Eagles - Maybe don’t pick an animal associated with a football franchise that has a longer championship drought than the *fargin'* Cleveland Browns.
Emeralds - Has any team ever been named after a rock? I guess their mascot could be Andy Dufrane.
Evergreens - Has any team ever been named after a tree? I think a more specific species would sound better. Seattle Spruce or Seattle Pine.
Firebirds - Joe Biden loves this idea.
Kraken - Sounds like a minor league name. On the plus side, the large Japanese population in Seattle can help the team with its tentacle-based marketing.
Rainiers - Has any team ever been named after a mountain? If going that route, I’d rather cheer for the Seattle Ser Sandors.
Renegades - Renegades? “synonyms: traitor · defector · deserter · turncoat” Ok. You do that.
Sea Lions - Probably my favorite of this list. Dovetails nicely with the Seahawks.
Seals - Every time you lose, the media will say you got clubbed. Do you want that?
Sockeyes - This would make them the most delicious franchise in all of sports.
Totems - Enjoy the protests.
Whales - Too close to Whalers. Also too confusing with the nearby Canucks adopting the orca as its logo and mascot.

I like the Seattle Shotguns.
Also, the Seattle Syringes has a nice ring to it.
